Teacher background: Mr. Lewis has been teaching English since 1998, first at Trottier Middle School in Southborough, MA and since 2005 at Lincoln-Sudbury. He comes to the classroom after an earlier career in the outdoors, working with young people at Outward Bound schools and the National Outdoor Leadership School. Mr. Lewis studied English at Dartmouth College and English Education at Tufts University. Outside of the school world he loves acoustic music, competitive running, ultimate frisbee, and playing with his two young kids.

This course provides an introduction to and overview of the rich literary history in our relatively young country. Click on the link for a course description.
