Digital Photography Wiki and Forum

This Wiki is a required resource for the Block 6 Digital Photography class. It will be used to provide information on assignments and classwork as well as a place to share and discuss our photographs. There is also an assignments page which lists current, past, and future assignments. Below you will find links to frequently used resources.

You can download a PDF of the Equipment agreement if you have misplaced your copy.

You will submit many of your assignments to my drop box. View directions for connecting to the server .

Independent Photography and research project:

Before starting your Keynote go to the final project page and post a comment with your name, topic and the url or name of two sources.

After viewing the examples in class you will begin viewing the work of some recognized photographers to generate ideas for your own project. You will have the choice of doing the "Inspirational Photographer Project" or A project about a particular technique.

After viewing the examples in class, then planning and taking your own photos you will create a composite photo in photoshop. Download the Directions below:

Please put your completed PSD file in my drop box by Tuesday Dec. 6th

SC2 (landscapes and sky)- contact sheet to be printed and handed in.
Edited photo from either abstract or landscape assignment with poster frame. Put the .psd file in my drop box (filename; LastNameFirstInitial_poster).

You may want to try using one of the editing techniques or tools shown in class.
